Jobless claims drop to lowest level in 3 months

Unemployment insurance claims last week declined to the lowest level since July, the Labor Department reports. Jobless claims dropped to 445,000, a decline of 11,000 from the week before. "But, historically speaking, these are still relatively high levels for where we are in the recovery," says T.C. Robillard, a senior research analyst for Signal Hill Capital.
