San Bruno disaster forces close look at inspection practices

California's Public Utilities Commission has just nine inspectors to ensure the state's gas pipelines are in safe, working condition. But the state has more than 100,000 miles of gas pipeline. The San Bruno explosion that left a neighborhood in ruins last month is spurring an examination of the country's pipeline maintenance and inspection system.
