Scanners will debut at St. Louis airport on Friday

The Transportation Security Administration will start using full-body scanners at the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on Friday. Two scanners that use low-level X-ray beams to screen passengers for weapons and explosives will screen travelers at the airport's Terminal 2. The TSA will eventually add more scanners at other checkpoints.
