Zagat: New York diners are fed up with cell-phone yakkers

A number of New York foodies and restaurant folks expressed the anger they feel when meals are disrupted by fellow diners talking or texting on their smartphones rather than engaging with the people in front of them, according to the latest Zagat survey. A growing number of establishments have begun banning cell phones in the dining room in response.
