IAG will develop new markets with Iberia Express

The International Consolidated Airlines Group announced Thursday that it will create an Iberia Express subsidiary that will operate out of Madrid-Barajas Airport and offer short- and medium-length flights. "The subsidiary is being established to compete effectively in the Spanish domestic and European market," IAG said in a news release.
