IOM issues recommendations on coverage standards for ACA

The Institute of Medicine on Thursday released its recommendations for the medical coverage standards of the Affordable Care Act. The organization has recommended that HHS develop a list of essential benefits in line with the costs of a typical small-employer plan, and that its requirements for individual and small group plans be as detailed as possible.
