Kansas unveils $651M plan for transportation projects

A two-year plan to "preserve, expand and modernize the Kansas highway system" was announced Thursday by the Kansas Department of Transportation. An allocation of $651 million from T-WORKS -- the state's $8 billion, 10-year transportation program -- will be used to fund road, aviation, transit and rail projects, according to KDOT.
