Obama is seeking input from private sector on cybersecurity

National Security Council representative Caitlin Hayden says that President Barack Obama's potential executive order on cybersecurity will be crafted using input from members of Congress and "our partners in the private sector." "Unfortunately, the current prospects for a comprehensive bill are limited, and the risk is too great for the administration not to act," Hayden said. Republican lawmakers recommended that the president re-engage Congress on crafting legislation rather than go it alone.
