Ala. district expands language learning to early grades

Young students at Madison City Schools in Alabama now have more opportunities to learn a foreign language. The district recently announced it will introduce foreign language classes in its early elementary grades. "We know from our research the younger we can introduce a foreign language to our students, the better the likelihood of them taking that language and embracing it," Superintendent Dee Fowler said.
