Calif. law aims to increase access to HIV tests

California Gov. Jerry Brown has signed into law a measure that streamlines HIV testing rules in the state. The law is intended to simplify consent procedures and allow greater access to screening in nonclinical settings. The legislation also allows the disclosure of testing results using secure online means.
