Consumers use mobile for shopping more than purchases

Consumers are actively using their mobile devices for shopping, but more for research and information than for purchases, according to research by Gartner. This complicates investment in mobile marketing, as it remains difficult to trace consumer exposure on mobile to a final purchase by other means, said Gartner analyst Miriam Burt.
