Ga. school uses video game to teach math

Otwell Middle School in Cumming, Ga., has introduced game-based learning in one of its math classes. Students in the class are using Minecraft to support their math lessons. During a recent lesson, students had to build a virtual roller coaster by plotting a coordinate plane along an X and Y axis. "I never thought that we would play something like Minecraft at a real class at school," one student said.
