La. Supreme Court passes on case of Tony the truck-stop tiger

The Louisiana Supreme Court announced it will not hear the appeal of a business owner trying to keep a 13-year-old Bengal-Siberian mix tiger on display at the Tiger Truck Stop near Baton Rouge. Michael Sandlin, who has housed several tigers at the stop since 1988, is determined to keep his current tiger, Tony, and has filed another suit challenging a law that prohibits private individuals from owning big cats.
