Pakistan's mango growers book a record season

Pakistan's mango exports grew to a record 165,000 metric tons valued at $60 million this year, up from 118,000 metric tons at $38 million in 2012. Beginning with exports to Japan and Australia, the jump came despite rejected shipments to the U.K., lost opportunities in the U.S. and Japan, and quality-related losses in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, according to the All-Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters, Importer and Merchants Association.
