Report: Most teachers report enthusiasm for the common core

Among English-language arts, math, science and social studies teachers in states implementing the Common Core State Standards, 73% say they are enthusiastic about the implementation. Initial findings of a report by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Scholastic find that enthusiasm is most common among elementary-school teachers at 81% with middle- and high-school teachers coming in at 71% and 57%, respectively.
