Study: Not as many career changers hold advanced degrees

Only about 12% of the 40,000 uncredentialed teachers in California have advanced degrees, says a report from the Center for the Future of Teaching and Learning. The data suggest career changers, thought a panacea for the teacher shortage, may not be a long term answer, the group's co-director says.
