N.J. judge dismisses voucher lawsuit

A New Jersey Superior Court judge has dismissed a lawsuit demanding that students in failing schools be offered school vouchers. Superior Court Judge Neil Shuster said it is up to the state's legislative and executive branches, not the courts, to impose a remedy. Attorneys on both sides of the case concurred that the matter probably will wind up going before the state's Supreme Court, after other appeals are exhausted.
