Echo appoints Dan Obringer as president

Echo, a subsidiary of Kioritz Corp., appointed Dan Obringer president of the outdoor power equipment manufacturer. Obringer will take the helm of the Japanese company on Dec. 1 and will be the first American to serve in that role. Steve Bly, who serves on the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute board, will also be promoted to executive vice president of Echo on Dec. 1.
