Neuronetics gets FDA approval for anti-depression device

The FDA has approved Neuronetics' NeuroStar TMS Therapy, a "transcranial magnetic stimulation" therapy system for use in treating depression. The device will be offered to patients who failed to respond to other anti-depression therapies and will be available initially in a few treatment centers in the U.S., the company said.
