Car makers work toward technologies to curb impaired driving

While legislators are busy crafting laws to address impaired driving, auto manufacturers are developing new technologies to control certain practices that cause the problem. Car makers are designing cars equipped with features that can detect if the driver is drowsy, distracted or drunk as well as monitor a motorist's driving behavior.
