Conventional comfort-food wisdom refuted

A study appears to upend the common belief that people turn to comfort food during times of stress, instead finding that individuals turn to unusual and often healthier foods. Though more research is needed, the results indicate that people are more open to trying unfamiliar products during times of transition, the researcher said.
