At CTIA, operators offer $1M to train low-income youths

The top four wireless providers in the U.S. -- AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile USA -- announced at International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment® that they will donate $1 million to support a program that teaches low-income students about the industry. One Economy Corp., a Washington, D.C., nonprofit group, will use the grant to help fund a 200-hour training program that reaches 360 youths.
