Sony chief on PS3's future: It's all good

Sony's PlayStation 3, unlike its competitors, is designed to appeal across geographic, age and sex boundaries and, therefore, deserves to win the console war, according to the executive in charge of making PlayStations, Sony Computer Entertainment America President and Chief Executive Officer Jack Tretton. He went on to say that the PlayStation 3 "is really the central entertainment device for a room" because it can play games and Blu-ray movies, download music and video and browse the Web.
