Foreclosure issues deal another blow to housing market

The housing market has suffered a number of setbacks over the past two years and is now caught up in a tangle over flawed foreclosure documents. Mortgage giant Fannie Mae has curtailed sales of homes that might have been involved in a questionable foreclosure, and a trio of major lenders have suspended foreclosures in nearly two dozen states. The fallout is particularly hammering states such as Florida where there are many distressed properties.
