Partnership aims to create EHR-based speech recognition technology

IBM and Nuance Communications are combining efforts to come up with technology that will allow health care groups to convert dictated notes into electronic health record formats. Called Clinical Language Understanding, the technology can pull dictated patient health histories, treatments and related data into an EHR.
