AHIP encourages patience on exchange enrollments

Despite emergency fixes, consumers using health insurance exchanges under the Affordable Care Act still have reported delays and glitches. However, insurers said that enrollments are starting to trickle in and that they expect numbers to grow. "This is a marathon and not a sprint. We anticipate enrollments will continue to increase in the days and weeks ahead," said AHIP President and CEO Karen Ignagni.
