Asian-Pacific markets mostly advance as trade resumes in China

A majority of Asian-Pacific markets rose Tuesday after China's Shanghai Composite reopened up 0.5% after the National Week holiday. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index gained 0.9%. Indonesia's JSX dropped 0.3%. South Korea's Kospi gained 0.4%. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 gave up 0.2%. Japan's Nikkei 225 added 0.3%. India's Sensex was up 0.5%.
