Bank experiments with phones in place of cards at ATMs

City National Bank is experimenting with a program in three cities that allows mobile owners to use their phones rather than cards at ATMs. The system, which employs a QR code on the phone, is said to eliminate the risk of card skimming while generating a receipt on the phone that conserves paper.
