Brokers can help clear up consumer confusion

The Affordable Care Act standardizes certain elements of health insurance plans, regardless of whether those plans are sold through a publicly run marketplace. However, only buyers who purchase a plan from an exchange will be eligible for tax credits or subsidies. Brokers can help consumers find a plan that meets specific needs, and they have access to plans sold outside the exchanges, too.
