Calif. airport moves ahead with $1 billion redevelopment plan

The San Diego City Council recently approved a lease agreement with Brown Field International Business Park LLC and a $1 billion master plan for aviation and non-aviation facilities at Brown Field Municipal Airport. The plan includes an airport maintenance building, hangars, tie-downs and a fuel station, as well as a number of green-energy features.
