Kan. district eyes partnership with business community

A Kansas school district is preparing to open within two years a public-private structure for a new career and technical education center that would house the two facilities on the same campus. One, operated by the school system, would serve high-school students, while the other would be operated by the local Chamber of Commerce and serve adults in job-training programs.
