Kazakh oil field resumes production after September gas leak

Production has resumed in the Kashagan oil field in Kazakhstan following the discovery of a natural gas leak in September, said Sauat Mynbayev, head of KazMunaiGas. The field is now producing 61,000 barrels per day. ExxonMobil, Royal Dutch Shell, Total and Eni all own shares in the field.
