Military cities reeling from effects of shutdown

The partial federal shutdown has hit especially hard at cities that rely on nearby military outposts, which were already reeling from the effects of sequester. While Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel's announcement that many Defense Department workers would soon return to work brought some feelings of relief, anxiety remains. "We have zero predictability," said Washington Gov. Jay Inslee.
