Viacom's global Twitter Amplify deal to begin with MTV Europe Music Awards

Viacom International Media Networks has announced a partnership with Twitter Amplify that will include social video ad efforts tied to live events and content on MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET and other channels. The first event under the deal will be the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards, which will be shown live Nov. 10. Sponsors will be able to buy ads tied to "real-time highlights of the show's most buzzworthy performances, unexpected moments, exclusive backstage interviews" and other opportunities, according to MTV.
