Wendy's sells 24 Seattle units in push to reduce ownership

Wendy's sold 24 of its restaurants in Seattle to franchisee Cedar Enterprises as part of a larger push to reduce the number of company-owned units. The quickservice chain plans to hold onto its Denver restaurants as a training base but aims to sell the rest of its eateries west of the Mississippi River, according to CEO Emil Brolick.
