Wis. school district requires healthy options at concession stands

Public schools in Appleton, Wis., have adopted policies that require healthy foods be offered at event concession stands and that high-sugar foods be removed from student meals. While the district isn't aiming to eliminate unhealthy foods, nutrition policy committee co-chairwoman Becky Walker said, if one healthy food is offered "we think there will eventually be more once people start to use them."
