Study: Climate change threatens millions of Asia homes

Global warming is endangering the homes of millions in Asia, contributing to increased rainfall, stronger tropical storms and rising sea levels, according to a new report by Australia's leading scientific organization. Climate changes in the Asia-Pacific region could lead sea levels to rise by 19 inches by 2070, putting low-lying coastal villages at extreme risk, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization report said, citing Bangladesh, India, and Vietnam among the countries most at risk.
