Construction begins on water line in Waterford, N.Y.

W.M. Schultz Construction started laying pipe last week for a water line in Waterford, N.Y. The 4.5-mile pipeline could cost up to $8 million, with the cost split between the federal government and General Electric Co. The water line will provide safe drinking water for the towns of Halfmoon and Waterford.
