Research: Ad spending on MySpace, Facebook to pass $1B mark

MySpace and Facebook in 2008 will together make up more than 72% -- or a little more than $1 billion -- of all U.S. ad spending on social networks, eMarketer is reporting. Projections also call for widget and application ad spending to jump from $15 million last year to $40 million in 2008.
