24 pounds of cocaine seized at Sea-Tac Airport

Three people have been indicted in the largest-ever drug seizure at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The indictments came after TSA officials spotted 11 pounds of cocaine during routine screening of checked baggage on Sept. 30. Port of Seattle Police identified the bag owner's traveling companions and found 13 additional pounds of cocaine. "I'm very proud of the officers and detectives who participated," said Port Police Chief Colleen Wilson. "I'm also grateful for the ongoing partnership with our colleagues at the TSA."
