Groups ask judge to delay California rail project

Groups that oppose a bullet train running through California will ask a state judge to postpone further planning on the project. The groups say key environmental questions about the project have not been answered. Last August, the judge instructed the California High-Speed Rail Authority to address gaps in its environmental studies. Meanwhile, authority officials hope to start construction on the project in 2012.
