"Paradigm shift" in European aviation, trade group warns

European airlines are facing a "paradigm shift with far-reaching and irrevocable consequences," their trade association warns, adding that airline employment is on track to shrink by 34,000 jobs this year. The Association of European Airlines is calling on the EU to support the industry by reducing aviation fees and boosting credit availability.
