Students compete in Solar Decathlon in Washington, D.C.

Twenty teams from around the world will compete in the Solar Decathlon this week in Washington, D.C. College students will build 800-square-foot homes on the National Mall. The houses will be powered by the sun's energy, and judges will select the best design. Each team designs the home around a different theme, and the University of Louisiana home features a wrap-around porch and container garden.
