U.K.'s Thomson Cruises to offer sailings to Cuba next year

With few cruise lines making port calls in Cuba because of travel restrictions on Americans, Thomson Cruises is planning to tap the market with sailings to the island nation starting in 2010. "With only a small handful of European cruise lines being allowed access to the cultural and historical city of Havana due to U.S. laws on travel to the country, Thomson Cruises has taken the opportunity to offer British cruisers an inspirational choice of itineraries," Thomson said.
