Wastewater plant's floating roof needs repair

It will take months to repair a floating roof at a Connecticut wastewater treatment plant, plant officials said. They said the roof of the secondary digester tank got stuck in a low position on a pipe that broke inside the tank. "This really echoes the fact that the plant is getting old and repairs are needed," noted Dennis Dievert, superintendent of the treatment plant.
