Minn. district launches full-time gifted program

The Lakeville School District in Minnesota this year has a new full-time program for students who are highly gifted. The Ignite! program features a curriculum that is both accelerated and more in-depth, offering students an alternative to traditional gifted-education programs, where students are pulled out of their regular classrooms for specialized lessons.
