Several take-out eateries around Long Island, N.Y., are introducing residents to raw-food offerings while giving vegetarians more options. Nothing in the raw vegan kitchen is heated beyond 108 degrees, and places such as Live Island Cafe and Rising Tide Natural Market cater to novices with dishes such as spiral-sliced zucchini that mimics familiar pasta.
