Care quality for certain diseases improves with EHR use, study finds

EHR adoption in physicians' offices leads to improved care, according to research from the Hudson Valley Initiative. Doctors who used EHRs scored higher on care quality screening measures for breast cancer, diabetes, colorectal cancer and chlamydia, the study noted.
