Grocery store chains invest in locally grown food

Retailers including Wegmans and Whole Foods Market are meeting customer demand for locally grown produce, often organic. Sales of locally grown food have increased from $4 billion in 2002 to $11 billion in 2011, with a survey indicating "local" is this year's most influential food claim.
