Reports: RIM may be readying new tablet; Google eyes 10-inch Nexus

Research In Motion has withdrawn its PlayBook tablet from third-party online outlets, a move that led one analyst to suggest that the BlackBerry maker might be close to releasing a follow-up tablet. The PlayBook is still for sale on RIM's own website. In other tablet news, Google is reportedly working with Samsung Electronics to develop and co-brand a 10.1-inch tablet featuring a 2,560x1,600 display with pixels per inch of about 299, which would top the iPad's PPI resolution.
